Rachel never thought she’d fight for the right to clean toilets, but she has to save her mom’s business. Nothing can distract her from her mission – except maybe Whit, the cute new guy in cooking class. Then she discovers something about Whit that could change everything. After destroying her Dirt Diary, Rachel thought she was done with secrets, but to save her family’s business, Rachel’s going to have to get her hands dirty. Again

~My Thoughts~

The Prank List is the second installment in the Dirt Diary series. I really enjoyed the first book. You can read my review here.

In The Prank List Rachel manages to get into trouble once again. She’s still working for her mom in the house cleaning business, but she’s found a new outlook on life. She’s got a boyfriend and she’s thrilled to be taking a pastry class — her first step to becoming a professional pastry chef. Unfortunately, a new cleaning company sweeps into town and begins to stir things up for Rachel and her mom. Rachel is on a mission to make sure her mom hangs onto her business. What that entails… you’ll have to read it to find out!

This is a great sequel to The Dirt Diary. Rachel is an awesome character who gives off a real teenage vibe — mistakes and all. She’s spunky and full of heart. I love her friendship with her best friend, Marisol. They remind me so much of what it’s like to be a kid.

Anna’s writing style is so much fun to read. It’s a fluid and perfectly paced tale with a blend of funny and serious content. This is a great series that I highly recommend for young teens!
