The fourth in the “Dying Days” series…

“Level up with Rosamilia’s take on smarter, scarier zombies! They don’t sleep and neither will you. Read this now!” ~ Robert Chazz Chute, author of This Plague of Days

“Armand Rosamilia has masterly crafted a unique zombie book with many moving parts. Dying Days 4 should be on every zombie fanatics TBR list” ~ Mark Tufo, author of the Zombie Fallout series

“With Dying Days 4, Armand Rosamilia continues to carve his own glorious path through the zombie apocalypse. His unique blend of sex and violence, well-rendered melancholy and tough as nails, pedal to the metal can do attitude makes for a story that gets it all just right. Rosamilia is a bright light for a dark country, and one of a handful of writers I know I can turn to when I want to have the crap scared out of me. He’s that good” ~ Joe McKinney, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Dead City and Plague of the Undead

~Author Interview~

Hi Armand! So great to have you here on My Book Addiction for zOctober 2014!

Q. What about zombies makes you enjoy writing about them so much?

A. I could lie and tell you all about their role in society and how they mirror us in this day and age of uncertainty, or how they are an analogy for where our world is heading… but, really, aren’t zombies just really cool to read about? I just like writing about them and normal people dealing with it…

Q. Are you a gamer? If so, what is your favorite zombie or post-apoc game?

A. No, I had to give up on games a long time ago. I become addicted, like when I was a teen and spent way too many hours with Dungeons & Dragons. Of course, if you put Doom on a game console I will have to play it…

Q. Other than your own books, what is your absolute favorite zombie novel and why?

A. Definitely The Rising by Brian Keene. It is the book that got me thinking you could do something unique with zombies.

Q. What can your fans expect from you in the future? What’s eating away at your brain right now? (pun intended)

A. My horror novel, Chelsea Avenue, is the latest release, from Ragnarok Publications. As far as zombies… Dying Days: Origins 2 will be out in November. Dying Days 4 was released a couple of months ago, too.

Q. Do you dress up for Halloween and scare the kids?

A. No, actually. Once you have kids it kills it for you, I think. I was always too busy chasing them around and getting them ready. That being said, my mom still dresses up every year.

Q. If you could be a character in a zombie movie, what movie and what character would you choose?

A. Ving Rhames in the Dawn of The Dead remake. Because we’re both bald, although I’m definitely sexier. And more humble. And sexier.

Obsessed? Psh, I can quit reading/watching/dreaming/thinking about zombies anytime I want. Okay, okay, since I’m not an actual prepper, I’d say a 9.

  • Julianne Snow

    Great interview Armand and Toni!

  • chris v

Good interview. Aren’t we all a bit obsessed?

  • Armand Rosamilia

I use obsessed in a positive way!

  • Laura Wilson-Farmer

I would have to say a definite 10 on the zombie obsession scale; what’s not to love??

  • Julia Floyd

  • He doesn’t even play Resident Evil? Yikes! I devoured that game back in the day. Sounds like a cool series 🙂 WRITE ON!

  • Susan Pigott

On a scale of 1 to 10- my obsession with zombies is off the charts! I’ve loved anything “zombie” for as long as I can remember!

  • Fox

I’ll say 6 out of 10. Haven’t grown tired of the genre yet, much to my amazement, but I wouldn’t call myself a fanatic.

  • Nastasia Alexandria Nazar

    Like 7…lol

  • I turn it up to 11!

  • Sabrina Taylor

    I love anything Zombies. So I would say I’m a 10.

  • David Monsour

Armand rocks. Would have to say 8. 9 or 10 and you have a problem;)

  • marypreston

About a 5 – after all there are zombies & there are zombies.

  • Lori F

  • Lori Hopkins

I would say about a 7, because I won’t waste my time on garbage unless I am bored out of my skin, which doesn’t happen very often. For every good movie, book, tv show, there are at LEAST 2 bad ones…books and movies the ratio goes waaaaay up.
