“Angels aren’t supposed to fall in love, especially with each other. But for the record, you were worth it.”
Grace Tate is a Protection Angel and Vampire Hunter, and she has always followed the rules. But some rules are made to be broken…
Until now the fight against evil has been simple, and falling in love was never part of the plan. So what happens when it’s beyond Grace’s control, and when she least expects it she falls for the wrong person?
All hell breaks loose, that’s what.
At Hopetown Valley High, not everything is as it seems, and the one person Grace thought was her enemy becomes her most important ally.
Blood will be shed, lives will be lost and friendships will be tested. It all comes down to one decision, and when Grace tries to save all those dear to her, she realises not everyone can be—or wants to be—saved.
The prologue alone hooked me like no other. It began in a very whimsical manner, and conjured vivid imagery that immediately took me to another world .. and then ended on a note that refused to let me stop reading. I didn’t have a choice, really. My house could have been burning to the ground and I would have simply walked across the road, out of harms way, my eyes never leaving the pages.
Fall For Me is an awesome tale about Grace, a protection angel and vampire hunter, and her twin brother, Archer, who is also a vampire hunter, but very much human. Yeah, pretty crazy, right? Grace is the protagonist I have been craving in a book! She is smart, beautiful, badass, and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, no matter the cost. She and Archer are high school seniors at a nearby boarding school by day and hunters by night. I love their witty banter and the way they speak to each other without saying a word – and no, I don’t mean the traditional twin bond.
I’ve realized that I really dig school settings, though I always wonder how these kids keep attending school when all this other crap is going on in their lives. I would probably be like, “Yeah, I’m out.. vampires to kill, people dying, chaos ensuing. Shove your English paper up your rear, dude.”
Grace and Archer’s lives had been very routine until the night they found Charlotte, a vampire, hiding out from a group of vampires in the woods. What is a vampire doing running from other vampires? They don’t kill their own kind. Grace and Archer find out that Charlotte had been searching for them for quite some time, but why would a vampire seek out vampire hunters? And what is the secret Charlotte keeps locked away in her mind that Grace can’t penetrate? Oh, yeah… did I mention that Grace can read the thoughts of anyone she chooses? Badass, I tell you. Grace becomes smitten with Josh, a guy at her school, even though it’s forbidden for an angel to have intimate feelings toward anyone, human or otherwise. Fall For Me is told from both Grace and Josh’s POVs, which gives the story loads more depth. It is brimming with action, adventure, turmoil, and romance. There’s a good guy and a bad boy, and I can’t decide which I fancy more. Oh, who am I kidding? The bad boy always takes the cake!
I highly recommend Fall For Me to all fans of paranormal and fantasy. This book will knock your socks off! I can’t wait to read the prequel, Sacrifice.
Where did you get these guys from, Cain, they’re not too bright,” I yelled as I round house kicked a pretty brunette vamp in the face. A quick stab to her chest and she was dust on my boots. I really loved my job.
