The Sunday Post ~ 8th Edition

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday! It’s been a good week around here. I had a blast participating in May Monster Madness 2013. I’m already looking forward to next year. The weather has been nice and warm here in Michigan, finally. My little girls have received several review requests already for our Kids Corner Storytime Vlog! How cool is that? We’ll be posting another vlog later today. Have a great week & happy reading!

I am grateful to Rayya Elias for sending me a copy of her new book Harley Loco: A Memoir of Hard Living, Hair, and Post-Punk, from the Middle East to the Lower East Side. I will be posting about this again after I read it. I wouldn’t call it a review, per se, because I don’t feel that I should judge another person’s memoir, but I already know this is a 5-star book because I was fortunate enough to be at her reading at the Detroit Institute of Arts last month!
