- Open the Amazon Kindle app on your device.
- Select the “Manage Your Content and Devices” option from the main menu.
- Select the “Loans” tab from the next menu.

Simply select the book you want to recall and click the “Actions” dropdown menu next to it. Click “Recall this Loan” from the dropdown menu and confirm by clicking “Yes” when prompted. The person who borrowed your book will be notified that the loan has been recalled and they will have 7 days to return it before it is automatically deleted from their device.
