The Sunday Post ~ 21st Edition

sunday-post-meme

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Wow, it’s Sunday again? These weeks just seem to fly right by, don’t they? Before I know it my kids will be back in school and I will have the house to myself again all day. I’ll miss them for a minute or two, but I’ll get used to it. hehe.

The only new thing around here is the leap I’m taking, and hoping I don’t fall on my ass. You all know how much I love zombies, right? Well, in celebration of my love for the undead I decided that for the month of October I will be doing reviews, guest posts, interviews and giveaways that revolve around zombie books – some gory, some funny, a little bit of everything. I sure hope I can pull this off all by my lonesome! With the response I’m getting, I probably should have turned this into a group effort, but we shall see how it goes. If you know any authors of zombie fiction that might want to sign up while there are still spots available, please direct them to the zOctober 2013 page. Thanks!

By the way, when did I turn into a NA/Adult Contemporary Romance junkie? lol.

  • Loving your haul and I am doing “Things that Go Bump in the Night” for October for the second year, it is a lot of hard work, but peeps love it, and somehow I manage to get it all done! I put a blurp about it in my Sunday Post and added it to my sidebar for you.

    • Thank you so much, Kim! You rock πŸ™‚ I’m looking forward to your “Things that Go Bump in the Night” event!

  • Lauren Berman

Zombies are such fun. Good luck with the event and I will definitely be stopping by to check it all out.

Will send out a Tweet about it now.

  • I want to read Halle’s books and I almost picked up All Our Yesterdays, but ultimately passed on it. Have fun with the zombies. I’m sure you’ll do great!

    • I need to start Halle’s Experiment in Terror series soon! I have Darkhouse, the first book in the series – it’s always free for Kindle & Nook.

The week went by too quickly almost. I look forward to your zombie feature, I’m sure it’ll be awesome! I’ll have to check out your review of Gated, I just received it and I know very little about it. I hope you enjoy your week and your new books!

    • I hope you enjoy Gated as much as I did. You’ll have to let me know when you’re done reading it!

  • Laurel-Rain Snow

I’m not familiar with any of these books…hope you enjoy them! And enjoy the empty house…the hours will fly by.
